CROMARTY GARDENS
PUTTING DOWN ROOTS
ABOUT US
Cromarty Gardens is situated just south of the 401 on a gently rolling piece of God’s good earth. Henry and Evelyn Dreise have been transforming their property into Cromarty Gardens since 2000.
It is where we dream, play and don’t mind to do a hard day’s work.
It is where I, Evelyn, grow succulents, both hardy and tender. We make hypertufa pots in which I artfully arrange a combination of succulents, giving particular attention to colour and texture. I also grow perennials — mostly for wholesale purposes — but do have many tried and true varieties available online.
My life partner, Henry, works alongside me. His building and fix-it skills are so important in keeping things running smoothly. We are both lovers of the old, the well-used and the unique. Henry always had a heart to rescue an old barn. In 2007 he did it! Now our re-constructed barn houses The Garden Shop.
During the months of May & June, you are welcome to book an appointment to browse our garden shop and greenhouse. Until then, have a peek at the wonderful living things we have for sale in our online shop!
